Numbers are coming available for what former Oregon State QB Sean Canfield and LB Keaton Kristick have done at the NFL combine over the weekend.

Colby Covington leads the Oregon State wrestling team into the Pac-10 championships Friday-Saturday at UC Davis as the top seed in the 174-pound class.

Here are the seedings of the other OSU wrestlers that came out Thursday afternoon: No. 2 Jason Lara (125), No. 2 Kelly Kubec (133), No. 3 Mike Mangrum (141), No. 6 RJ Pena (149), No. 3 Keegan Davis (157), No. 2 Dan Brascetta (165), No. 4 Ty Vinson (184), No. 2 Chad Hanke (197) and No. 3 Clayton Jack (heavyweight).

There are 33 NCAA automatic qualifiers who will come out of the Pac-10 wrestling championships this year. This number is different for each conference, and the Pac-10 has the fourth most.

The breakdown varies depending weight class. Here’s how many for each: 124 (4), 133 (5), 141 (5), 149 (3), 157 (3), 165 (1), 174 (3), 184 (2), 197 (2), heavyweight (5).

There will be 46 at-large qualifiers to fill out the 10, 33-man brackets that come out March 10.

The Beavers defeated their first round opponents in eight of the weight classes. Hanke has not faced his and Jack split with his foe.

Cliff: Pac-10 hoops honor Comments

The Pacific-10 Conference will honor 10 former men’s basketball players with their induction into the Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Hall of Honor during the Pac-10 tournament in March.

They are Mike Bibby (Arizona), Jeremy Veal (Arizona State), Earl Robinson (California), Kenya Wilkins (Oregon), Dave Gambee (Oregon State), John Arrillaga (Stanford), Reggie Miller (UCLA), John Block (USC), Eldridge Recasner (Washington) and Paul Lindemann (Washington State).

Gambee is a two-time All-American and All-Pacific Coast Conference selection. He is one of five OSU players to earn All-American honors twice in their careers.

Following the 1957-58 season, the 6-foot-7 forward left his mark on the record book as the school’s career leader in points scored (1,468), third in rebounds (828), rebounding average (10.6) and free throws made (400). He recorded five 30-plus scoring games, including a career-high 35 points in a 79-69 victory over Yale in 1957.

After 12 seasons in the NBA where he averaged 10.6 points and 5.2 rebounds, Gambee retired following the 1969-70 season. He was inducted into the State of Oregon Hall of Fame in 1980 and the Oregon State Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991.
