CB Jordan Poyer is on another watch list.
Add the watch list for the Bronko Nagurski Trophy to the many preseason honors for Oregon State football player Jordan Poyer.
The senior cornerback is one of 84 players on the list, released by the Football Writers Association of America and the Charlotte Touchdown Club. The Nagurski Trophy is given to the top defensive player in the county each year.
Five finalists will be announced Nov. 15, and the FWAA All-American Committee will announce the winner on Dec. 3.
Poyer was second-team all-conference last season with 57 tackles, four INTs and 12 pass breakups. He is also listed as a fourth-team all-American by Phil Steele, on the watch list for the Lott Trophy and Bednarik Award.
