WR Jordan Villamin of Etiwanda, Calif., verbally committed to the Oregon State football team Tuesday, according to Rivals.com.
He’s a three-star 6-foot-4, 195-pounder who had offers from Utah, Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington.
Villamin could have been a hotter sought-after prospect, but he’s not yet qualified academically. He plans to have that sorted out in the next year.
A big reason Villamin decided on the Beavers is the recent commitment of Victor Bolden of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. They are close friends.
Villamin is the third commitment for the Beavers for 2013. DB Terin Solomon from Murrieta, Calif., is the other.
