It’s guaranteed when I take some time off, something happens on the Oregon State football team front.

At least this time, it wasn’t anything major.

The Beavers, however, picked up their second verbal commitment for 2013 last week from WR Victor Bolden of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.

Bolden is a three-star 5-foot-9, 165-pounder out of Los Osos High. He had offers from Utah, Hawaii and Eastern Washington. Now that the Utes are in the Pac-12, it’s good for the Beavers to get athletes Utah is after.

247sports.com ranks Bolden the 143rd WR in the country and the 118th player in California. He caught 48 passes for 507 yards a junior, and as a DB he had 27 tackles and one INT. Bolden was also used on punt and kickoff returns.

Check out his junior year highlights in the above video. He looks quick, and Scout.com says he runs a 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds. Bolden has been given the James Rodgers comparisons.
