The Oregon State gymnastics team remained ranked No. 8 in the nation after the win over New Hampshire and Seattle Pacific last weekend. The Beavers haveĀ an RQS of 196.550. This week, however, they are tied with LSU.
Florida is No. 1 with a 197.395, followed by Oklahoma (197.310), Alabama (197.155), UCLA (197.140), Georgia (196.995), Nebraska (196.960) and Utah (196.705).
Leslie Mak slipped to No. 11 in the all-around (39.400), tied with Utah’s Corrie Lothrop. They are the two highest ranking Pac-12 gymnasts.
Mak is tied for second on the balance beam (9.920) and tied for No. 13 on the uneven bars (9.885)
Makayla Stambaugh is tied for No. 19 in the all-around (39.280).
Melanie Jones is the top-ranked OSU floor exercise gymnast, tied for No. 17 (9.890). Kelsi Blalock is coming on in the vault, tied for No. 18 (9.905).
The team is ranked No. 7 on the beam (49.150), No. 8 on bars (49.220), No. 11 on floor (49.195) and No. 16 on vault (49.080).
OSU goes into the Pac-12 Conference meet Saturday at Utah. Rankings could improve since these scores go into the RQ. It’s a road meet for everyone but Utah.
The Utes won the first meeting with OSU in Salt Lake City. Read about it here.

What are the chances of 3 Pac-12 Teams making it into the Regionals?

Very high. There could be four or more.
There is no selection committed. You either have one of the top 36 scores, or you do not.

Of the 8 Pac-12 teams, only California will not compete as a team at Regionals, so 7 of the 8 Pac-12 teams will be at a Regional. Utah and UW are hosting two of the Regionals. Utah, UCLA, OSU, Stanford … and possibly Arizona, will be top-18 seeds.
