Pink out cermoney from last weekend.

The Oregon State gymnastics team remained ranked No. 8 this week after its tie with UCLA last weekend. The Beavers have an average score of 196.393. The Bruins, however, moved up a spot to No. 6.

Florida took over the No. 1 spot with an average of 196.929. Oklahoma, Georgia, Alabama, Utah, UCLA and Arkansas are between the Gators and Beavers.

Next week the Regional Qualifying Scores (RQS) kick in. OSU has an RQS 196.180. We’ll see how that ranks up to the other teams.

To find an RQS, the top six scores are used with at least three of them being on the road. Then the top overall score is dropped. The remaining five are averaged.

Senior Leslie Mak is ranked No. 9 in the all-around (39.675), No. 3 on the balance beam (9.908) and No. 4 on the uneven bars (9.888)

Makayla Stambaugh is tied for No. 9 on the bars (9.867) and Olivia Vivian is up to being tied at No. 13 (863). Stambaugh is also tied for No. 8 on the floor exercise (9.892).

The team ranks No. 2 on the bars (49.250), No. 3 on the floor (49.167), No. 7 on the beam (49.979) and No. 15 on the vault (48.988).

OSU will be at home again at 7 p.m. Friday against No. 16 Boise State. The Broncos are strong vaulters at No. 10 (49.150).

And here’s some silliness from the gymnasts in the video below.
