The annual Pink Out meet for the No. 8-ranked Oregon State gymnastics team drew a large crowd again of 6,035. It was more for the cause, but the matchup is a marquee one with No. 7 UCLA with California tagging along.
The Beavers and Bruins ended up tied at 196.775. OSU lead early but UCLA came back.
Here’s my full story that’s in Saturday’s GT.
Vault
The Beavers scored a 49.200 — tying the season high from last week — on the event and is in first place after one rotation. Kelsi Blalock led the Beavers here. Cal and UCLA had a fall in their events.

Consistency for the Beavers continued. However, Mak was on fire. One judge gave her a 10.0.
The Beavers scored a 49.175 on the event, but UCLA had a 49.450 on the vault to make it closer. OSU still has a good lead going into the final event.

Floor
There some rough patches during this event so UCLA made it a lot closer and eventually tied it, but Stamabugh finished off the meet big. Check her out below.
“Floor is one of my better events, and I feel confident,” Stambaugh said. “This past week I worked on little details to push the scores. Tonight was a result of hard work.”

That was one of the funnest matches i’ve ever been to! The girls performed awesome, thought the judges were very strict on some of the events and thought the girls should’ve got higher scores in some areas than that what they got. But it was great seeing beaver nation out in such force for such a great cause! Can’t wait for next year’s gymnastic’s pink out, i will definitely be at next year’s
