WR Zach Robinson from Sequoyah High in Tahlequah, Okla., verbally committed to the Oregon State football last weekend, according to two news outlets citing his coach Brent Scott.

Robinson is a 6-foot-2, 195-pounder unranked athlete who runs a 4.5-second 40-yard dash. He was also recruited by Tulsa, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Missouri State and Mississippi State.

“I’ve always dreamed of getting out of here,” Robinson told the Tahlequah Daily Press. “Getting out of the small town and going out into the big world and making something of my life.”

Teams talked to him about being a WR and DB, but OSU is interested in him adding 15-20 pounds and playing OLB.

“The coaches from Oregon State came down, and I was real comfortable with them,” Robinson said. “I also met with (secondary coach Keith Heyward) and he seemed like a cool, genuine dude.”

Check out his highlights below. The Beavers are at 22 commitments or signed players in this year’s recruiting class.

If Robinson moves to OLB, he’s the third LB in the class with Joel Skotte of Mountain View High and Cade Cowdin from College of the Desert.
