First, here’s a suspension update from the Oregon State football team. TE Tyler Perry will serve his suspension from his preseason MIP.
Perry hurt his knee during training camp, so he never officially served the suspension. Perry started practicing, so coach Mike Riley is suspending him this week.
TE Connor Hamlett, however, is not suspended, yet, since there are only three TEs for the TE and H-back position.
Here are some links to the Oregon State football team stories in Thursday’s GT. The main story is on what the OL coach Mike Cavanaugh does for Riley. He’s a co-offensive coordinator.
Here’s a link to the sports editor looking at the Riley vs. Dennis Erickson deal. It’s an annual storyline when OSU and Arizona State meet.
Here’s a link to the weekly oddball Q&A. This one is on OG Burke Ellis. As a preview, here’s the lead/title single of a movie the scared him as a child, and he now fears tornadoes.
It’s also fitting because I’ll be at AliceCooper’s Town in Phoenix this weekend drinking Waboritas, the Sammy Hagar specialty drink.
