Are we now officially the 1980′s Beavers?? Last in everything kinda says that doesnt’ it? Wow, who would have thought that we could fall so far in 10 games, losing, what, 8, or 9, of them is unfreaking real. Now the quesion is, where do we go, do we just admit that we are the weakest link in the league and play for the future, or try to salvage a season that has litttle hope of being saved from the worst in 20 years? Who knew? Is the talent level just that bad, hard to believe, but then ???

I don’t want to freak out but our performance over the last 14 games has me a little worried given the already increased competition in the Pac-12 and the possibility of even more coming in a Pac-14 or 16. Anyone added to the conference now will have significantly better facilities and more $$ than the Beavs (as it is, only WSU and Utah are worse). A backslide at this point could be a death knell. If the team can’t win to attract recruits, donations and fans in the seats now, it’s not going to get any easier.

we return kicks so well cause we get so much practice. thats a plus to letting the other team score at will all day.
man i hate this year.

Wazzu leads the nation in scoring offense too – which only goes to show how silly it is to analyze league-wide statistics two weeks into the season.

While I tend to agree with Jeff that it’s a bit early Langsdorf’s body of work indicates that last in a number of offensive categories is a pretty likely scenario for the beavs.
Come on Cliff tell us some happy stuff –langsdorf going on permanent sabbatical (as opposed to the being paid while in a coma that he’s giving us now), James Rogers being cloned repeatedly and playing all 11 positions on offense, anything! We need some hope.
Go beavs.

How about…What’s up with Glover? Will he practice all year then be declared ineligible? Can someone give the guy an answer?
