Oregon State starting TE Brady Camp was declared out for Saturday’s game at Washington, coach Mike Riley said after Wednesday’s practice.
Camp has been bothered by a bruised back that hit a nerve from the Oct. 2 Arizona State game. He missed last week’s game at Arizona.
John Reese and Colby Prince will share the position again.
New starting WR Markus Wheaton has been slowed by a bruised knee. He was limited in practice, but should be available for the game. Wheaton said returning kickoffs take a lot out of him.
“He has a little swelling on the knee,” Riley said. “There’s nothing (big) there. His knee has been checked out, and it came from a bruise.”
C Alex Linnenkohl (ankle) aggravated his injury and missed the second half of practice. OG Grant Johnson (neck) took it easy. He has a big neck brace on his pads now.
DE Dominic Glover has moved into the starting role for Taylor Henry. Henry had been slowed by a back injury from training camp and hasn’t gotten on track, yet.
“It’s what we needed him to do, to step up and have a chance to have more guys playing,” Riley said of Glover. “I think he’s playing better and better all the time.”
Overall, it was a ragged practice for the offense. Offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf wasn’t happy with the offensive line in particular.
“We threw a lot of blitzes at them and we weren’t exactly clean picking them up,” Riley said. “We need a sharp day tomorrow to feel good about that.”

Regarding punt/kick returns: What happened to Parker? He won all kinds of track events in Canada…is he just not good in pads?

He's in there at practice, too.

Who else besides Jordan Poyer & Markus Wheaton can return kicks? Who are the other speedsters? Too bad Reggie Dunn went to Utah, he ran the 40 yard dash in 4.28!!!

Has anyone read "Time for an Official Review" on http://www.beaverfootball.com ? http://oregonstate.scout.com/2/1011634.html
I highly recommend it, MUST READ, It talks about OSU getting hosed from Pac-10 officiating.

I wrote the Pac-10 about this, and Kirk Reynolds reply to me was:
"Actually, he's not a former Arizona player, nor is he a booster as some others have claimed."

Thank you for sending the petition to the Pac-10! Keep on keepin on with that! There's a conspiracy about hurting Boise State through OSU, sad thing is it might be true?

You're welcome.
I don't believe the conspiracy. OSU ranked where they are seems accurate and fair to me when I consider the defense has given up half a mile of yardage. They had their chance to be ranked in the top 5 (by beating BSU and TCU) or top 10 (beating 1 of those 2 teams) and failed on the national stage. It's hard to complain about it now or question the voters since those are the two games they likely watched. Boise State is going to slide due to their feeble schedule, so conspiring against them would be pointless.

He may not have been a player but he IS a booster and lives in Tucson and is an Arizona graduate of 1967. And this isnt the first time that he has been accused of being a homer. Check out the Arizona-Utah game from 2002.

I am wondering if it would do any good to contact the NCAA itself and who exactly should be contacted as far as investigating , clamping down on Pac Ten officiating? Things have obviously been out of hand for some time but it is not getting any better. I am even wondering being the new conspiracy theorist lol if maybe there is some game fixing going on , some betting , that might explain some of the crappy officiating . Maybe we the fans should just boycott the games until some serious action is taken

Verle Sorgen is probably saying "Oregon State got what they deserved." as he chuckles demonically.
Not sure who claimed Jim Fogltance is a former player. Kerry's article says "Not so much, though, when the replay official is a Tucson citizen, an Arizona grad and, according to one source, a donor to the school’s athletic department."
Nevertheless, wouldn't it be wise of the Pac 10 to remove any scent of controversy by assigning him to games other than Arizona's? Seems like common sense to me.
Oh, and he blatantly missed the review of the AZ receiver's catch at the 1, calling it a TD. It was on Beavers All Access last night and I watched it frame-by-frame and he's lying flat on the ground with the ball around the 1, not to mention the knee being down even earlier. Not sure what he saw to confirm it as a TD.

Now THAT is egregious.
