Oregon State DT Stephen Paea is on the watch list for the Lombardi Award for the best down lineman on either side of the ball.
As mentioned by Bob De Carolis on Brook Hatch’s blog, scheduling for the Pac-12 is up in the air.
Next year’s OSU-Hawaii game would not be played the final weekend of the season. That’s when the conference title game would be played. Would OSU open at Hawaii?
The wife wouldn’t be happy about the Hawaii game being pushed back to 2013 or some other time. That’s one of two road trips she’s ever taken with me. The other was Pullman. Talk about two different places.
OK, yesterday’s post about the fourth-quarter song was a joke but no one bit. Here’s a legit recommendation. It’s a current song with a classic twist. And the perfect stadium/arena sports anthem.

Cliff sorry this is off-topic but thought you, or another reader, might have an answer. I was in Portland last week and made a trip through the Beav store to secure some new Orange prior to the TCU game and noticed there is quite a bit of apparel made by Adidas. Previously it seemed that everything was Nike…is there a new contractual arrangement or has there always been room for multiple companies?

Some of the teams, soccer I believe, use Adidas.

If the Pac 10/12 schedule issue pushes the Hawaii game out (or back), do the Beavs owe a penalty fee to Hawaii? I think this game is needed nonetheless as it is a good for recruiting.

Don't know the contract details, but it's only being delayed if that happens. OSU intends to play the game.
I'd hope the Pac-12 steps in to pay one, if there is a penalty, since the change is out of OSU's hands.

Looking at the non-conference schedule next year I'd prefer we drop BYU and stick w/Hawaii.
Is the Wisconsin game still on board?

Thanks for the clarification. The point being is OSU is not 100 percent Nike. Other manufacturers supply the teams.
