The Oregon State football team was selected by Nike to be one of 10 teams to wear a uniquely designed uniform for at least one game this season.
It’s called the Nike Pro Combat System of Dress. They are supposed to more durable and weigh less. The designs will be released Sept. 1 in New York.
The other schools used as guinea pigs are Alabama, Boise State, Florida, Miami, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, Texas Christian, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
Oh no. This will be bad. Real bad.

Maybe throwbacks to coincide with homecoming theme?

It's hard to trust Nike with uniforms unless the ucks wear the same thing. Is this another bra?

It can't be worse than the sports bras. If it's truly bad, then we have an excuse–the Ducks' owners wanted to embarrass us.
I've heard that the uni's themselves are old school. I couldn't get any more than that. I'm partial to plain Jane with some nice piping and broad stripes. But what do I know? Kids apparently liked UO's chiffon road-kill look.

I wouldnt be shocked if they are throw back unis for homecoming week. The osu book store and nike have a new line of throwback shirts and hats and they said it was the theme for homecoming this year.

I saw the old Benny shirts with some kind of parchment treatment on them. The funny thing is that I have four tee shirts with the old Benny which are in really good shape still. I had one angry muskrat shirt that went threadbare and fell apart at the seams within two years, another that faded to grey and shrank… and another that has a peach hue to it with missing letters. The newer long sleeved tees and my 20 year-old sweatshirt (with old Benny) have held up well.
I'm afraid to buy any more apparel. I'm not a fan of the swaled OS, and I'm tired of cartoon characters and 70's cursive script representing my school.
Just to let Nike know… I will never buy into anything involving a Robo-Benny.

Or plaid…
Didn't Nike suggest an orange plaid uni a year or two ago? YUCK.
