The Oregon State football team has been busy with it Youtube program. Check out the videos above and below for highlights of the 2009 season.
It’s a good way to get you in the mood for football with training camp opening up Aug. 9.
On the roster front, backup P Ryan Allen from West Salem High transfered to Louisiana Tech. He was a walk-on with a strong leg, but stuck behind starter Johnny Hekker.
Other than that, it’s been pretty quiet as I’ve been busy watching MLB, lawn mower racing and freestyle motocross.

great vids, got me pumped, and made me think about the upcoming season.
Cliff, what do you expect to see from Katz? honestly i can easily see a great or typical rookie season from him. Riley is a smart guy and while Quizz is nicknamed the money, i think Riley knows his money will be with Katz's performance this year. that makes me think that Katz will be fine tuned (enough) and more than ready. another plus is the fact that hes Not a frosh, which means hes had time to learn the system and gell with the team. iv also heard that Katz has always risen to the next level when he plays on a big stage. i remain grounded though, because this will be his first year starting. what are your thoughts?

He should be a good one, similar to Canfield. If you remember, Canfield started to come into his own in the middle of his sophomore year and then got hurt. If Katz stays healthy, he should be at Canfield senior year level his junior year.

why was allen "stuck behind" a sporadic punter? I'll never understand the philosophy that because a guy has seniority or experience he's the better candidate. it doesn't make sense in the workforce, and it makes even less sense on the football field.
