Oregon State football coach Mike Riley met up with the beat writers Tuesday to go over all things football related going into spring football.

So does sean mannion just come in behind Lomax when he arrives? Is he coming in the spring as well? I think we might want to groom him to be the starter after Lalich and Katz are done.

Mannion will be No. 5 in the fall and redshirt. Then where he goes from there won't be decided next spring or even next fall.

Who's being groomed for long snapper next season? It's a position that's overlooked and the current guy is excellent but I believe he's a senior.

Marcus Perry is a junior. And OSU will recruit one for when he's done. They have one scholarship a year set aside for the LS.
