Former Oregon State football players QB Sean Canfield and LB Keaton Kristick have been at the NFL combine over the weekend, working out and meeting the NFL higher ups.
Being a QB, Canfield had a lot writing about him. Here’s a story from one of his hometown papers, the San Diego Union-Tribune, here.
He ran the 60-yard shuttle in 11.99 seconds, third among the QBs. Here’s a report that didn’t mention him in other physical tests. Another report wasn’t favorable here.
There’s little found on Kristick. If anyone finds anything, post a comment. I’ll highlight it in the main post.
And check out this podcast interview of OSU assistant wrestling coach Troy Steiner after the Pac-10 title victory.

I know he ran an unofficial 4.64 40 which is good enough to place him in a tie for fourth fastest however i do not know his official time. He gained about ten pounds and comes in at 234 lbs. He looked very focused from what i saw. If he continues to put on a little more weight (which shouldn't be a problem on that 6'3" frame) and maintains that 40 time I would honestly look for his stock to rise. He's got the football I.Q. and some intangibles that I think would also raise his stock. There was a reason Riley took him when it came to the Pac-10 media day.
