Cliff: Flyover coming, run Comments

There will be another jet flyover before an Oregon State football game with latest being Saturday before the UCLA game. This is your warning Corvallis, run to the hills.

It won’t be a military jet this time. Horizon Airlines, a corporate sponsor the Beavers, will fly its OSU themed Bombardier CRJ-700 over Reser Stadium.

The low altitude flyover will take place at approximately 12:52 p.m., eight minutes before kickoff. The jet will make two flyovers in different directions allowing fans to admire the aircraft, which was unveiled in February 2008.

Horizon Airlines has similar jets with Washington, Washington State and Oregon themes – those jets have flown over each school’s stadium earlier this year.
