I think we have an average defense. We don't have a great defense like last year. With last year's D we probably are 7-0. Such is college football.

And, yes the refs were aloof and really bad. Enough with the questionable holding calls. Protect the safety of the players.

With an average defense we're 7-0. Cincy, Arizona, and USC are all loses square on their shoulders. We knew this would happen going into the year, but it's frustrating realizing what could have been. On a side note, the refs "missed" two helmets being ripped off (i.e. James Rodgers and Pankey) and a horsecollar. I'm going to be sending a letter to the conference and I hope to have at least 100 people sign this petition. http://angrybeavers.wordpress.com

Greyshirting the incoming place kicker should not even be an option. The number of extra points and field goals inside of 30 yards that have been missed over the past 2 seasons is unacceptable.

"The defense did pretty good"? 40 plus points, an inability to tackle or get stops and our secondary brought back memories of last year's civil war.

Horrible performance again from the defense. If they don't get better, there will be no bowl game this year. Kudos to Canfield and the offense, and to Langsdorf/Riley-the offensive game plan was first rate.

How about some tackling this week?
