Cliff: Hanging out on the strip Comments
LAS VEGAS – I’ve arrived in my hotel after traveling the day of the game. I usually leave Corvallis on Friday for a Saturday game, but I didn’t want to sit around in a hotel all day.
After an hour at the rental car line and working out to relax, I’m off to check out the OSU volleyball team playing UNLV, before I head to the football game.
Volleyball SID Melody Stockwell begged and pleaded for me to come by the match. She didn’t even want a real story, just tweets or a blog. Check back in a little bit.
Beavers volleyball beat UNLV 3-0 and won this two-match tournament they were in here. Is this a football preview? Here’s a picture of the postmatch celebration.
OSU has started the season strong with a 7-2 record. The program has been making progress so it will be interesting the Pac-10 portion of the season comes up. Here’s a timeout picture.
