Media central was the Club Level of Reser Stadium. The Valley Football Center is having the interior updated, so the players eat in the stadium.
It’s a plush setting, for those who haven’t been inside. The best thing is the big windows give us more light.
Executive chef Raul Vera has to bring up food from the VFC, but he’s not concerned. “Just give me fire,” he said.

QB Lyle Moevao (shoulder) has been cleared to only do individual drills, but not a full play. Read more about him in Tuesday’s GT here.
RB Jacquizz Rodgers (shoulder) and WR James Rodgers (collarbone) are eager to hit someone to see how the injuries hold up. They’ll have to wait until at least Wednesday when shoulder pads are on. Read more about the Rodgers brothers and other items in my football notebook in Tuesday’s GT here.
LB Keaton Kristick will be doing an online diary for the Sporting News throughout the season.
