Football recruiting Comments
QB Sean Mannion verbally committed to the Oregon State football team, according to Scout.com. He’s a 6-foot-5, 205-pounder from Foothill High in Pleasanton, Calif.
Scout rates him as a three-star athlete and the 37th best athlete at his position in the 2010 recruiting class.
Mannion completed 167 of 307 for 2,608 yards, 23 TDs and eight INTs last season. He was found at the recent camp OSU conducted.
The Beavers have two verbal commitments, with the other being OL Roman Sapolu from Huntington Beach, Calif. They plan to sign a small class of about eight players.
Here’s a funny video of Mannion spoofing his dad, his coach at Foothill.
